Interior Features and Cargo Room

The base model in the new 2019 Honda Insight is comfortably equipped with cloth seats and an easy-to-use display screen--but if you upgrade to top trim levels like the Touring, you can enjoy surprising, premium features like heated leather seats and rain-sensing wipers, premium audio, and more. Expected best-in-class passenger volume makes this one of the most comfortable hybrid sedans in its class, and you even get up to 15 cubic feet of trunk space.

Styling That's Classic and Mature

This is one hybrid sedan that adopts classic, car-like good looks. Since the 2019 Honda Insight shares a chassis, wheelbase, and roofline with Civic, it's not particularly surprising that it looks a lot like other Honda sedans. But, its mature styling makes it look closer to the popular and modern Accord, and makes it a great choice for younger drivers and families alike.

Engine Performance and Hybrid Power

Currently, front-wheel drive is the only option for this hybrid sedan, and that's likely to stay. There are no all-wheel-drive Honda sedans offered in the lineup. A 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine comes standard, and works with two electric motors and a lithium-ion battery to produce a combined 151 horsepower and 197 pound-feet of torque. Selectable ECON/Sport/EV modes offer enhanced, customized performance.

Following in the footsteps of many new Honda models, the all-new 2019 Honda Insight will feature a standard suite of Honda Sensing features on every trim level, including a Collision Mitigation Braking System, Road Departure Mitigation System, Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow, and Lane Keeping Assist System. A Multi-Angle Rearview Camera with Guidelines also comes standard on all LX, EX, and Touring trims.
